Grasmere - Lake shores, ancient walking routes, woodlands and cave

This walk is a lovely loop starting and finishing in the village of Grasmere around two lakes in the heart of the Lake District. We start on the ancient “coffin route”, with beautiful viewpoints. We then follow the lake shores of Grasmere and Rydal Water, taking in old quarry caves and the picturesque “White Moss” woods along the way.

Duration: 4-5 hours including one stop, taken at a leisurely pace with breaks when needed.
